A public archive of a live dispute concerning artist rights, contractual interpretation, operational control, and the attempted transfer of beggars.ai.
‘Blue Film’ was independently created and later licensed to 4AD. What followed gave rise to disputes concerning royalties, audit procedure, approvals, administration, and access to materials connected to Blue Film and Every Night.
This site exists for one reason: record.
It gathers dates, correspondence, and primary documents in one place. It separates what is confirmed, what has been stated by the parties, and what remains disputed.
What I am asking for
Clarity as to who is acting in what legal capacity under the 9 August 2013 agreement.
Full compliance with royalty, accounting, and audit obligations.
A global resolution consistent with the actual chain of control, responsibility, and continuing exploitation.
Independent artist-run archive and commentary site.
Not affiliated with Beggars Group Limited or any of its labels.
These are redacted public filings and related records posted for documentary and archival purposes.
Where issues remain contested, they are identified as disputed.
Legal Status: The related federal action remains pending in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. The principal motions are fully briefed. Separately, Namecheap has confirmed in writing that the registrar hold remains in place under UDRP Policy 4(k), and beggars.ai remains active while the dispute continues.
